Registration night tonight and tomorrow night and for those of you who haven't taken part before it will hit home when you pick up your numbers especially if you are attempting the whole. Keep focused, drink plenty of fluids to get totally hydrated and remember your carbs over the next couple of days !!!! PASTA PASTA PASTA!!!!
Mentally prepare!!!! By now you should be mentally prepared by that I mean focused in the mind for what you are about to undertake. I split the walk up in three/four parts. Part one - Warm up to Peel. Part Two - Getting through Andreas! Part three - Top of Maughold The mighty BALLAJORA!!! Its even more horrible sixty miles in and bad enough when you do it when your fresh!!!!! That was the point at the top of the Ballajora that I knew I was going to finish! Mentally I then thought that the run in from Ballajora to the finish line was a cool down!!!! It totally worked for me.
Well thats it for now, Keep Calm, Hydrate, Carbs and Focus !!!!!
