No Half Measures!

As I wrote 1 1/2 posts last week all your getting this week is 1/2!!! To be honest I could talk about my trip to Twickenham on Saturday with my brother which was absolutely fabulous.  I drank far too much, ate far to much and the only exercise was a two mile trudge to The Swan Public house near the ground after the match.  However I dont want to bore people and gloat to the French followers of this blog but once again after 60 minutes French management messed things up again and made dire substitutions which helped England.

The atmosphere at Twickenham was its usual electric self and the beer was alcoholic, I cant say that it was good but it was beer never the less.  The company was fantastic as ever and my brother had also organised drinks before the game in the West Carpark which also included bacon and sausage baps! Thank you to our hosts "Legion", fantastic effort.  Following the game the it was back to the car park for more drinks including mulled wine and a fantastic beef bourguignon.  Once again thank you for your kind hospitality!

The morning after saw another early start with being picked up at 7am for the journey back to Gatwick and the Isle of Man.  The morning of the game was also an early start with a journey to Ronaldsway at 5am!!!! I know now why its the red eye!

So the week ahead which is already half way through has consisted of two walks so far and a big attempt to cut down on rubbish food and laying off the booze for a while.

My next post will be more walking informative rather than rugby, booze and food!!!!!
Before I go I must just say two years ago today Birmingham City won the Carling Cup against Arsenal! Well done at the weekend Blues and Unlucky Villa (Again!!) looks like a second city derby next season!!!!

Keep Right On....................
